Partial discharge detection in Transformer, Switchgear, Cables, GIS provides an indication of localized points of degradation in the insulation system. Detecting these weak points is of interest for condition-based maintenance, asset replacement programs and improving overall network reliability. With on-line / off-line PD detection, tests can be done under normal working conditions with equipment in-service. Continuous monitoring can also be achieved in which measurements are made over an extended period. This Equipment can be also use for PD measurement in Ultra-High Frequency Bandwidth with supporting accessories.
